What you will learn
Theory

- Understand how alkalis, acids, hydrotropes, and complexing agents work
- Choose preservatives and antimicrobial additives for specific tasks
- Read and build formulas from raw materials to the finished product
- Work with enzymes, cyclodextrins, and optical brighteners
- Follow safety rules when working with aggressive chemicals
Practice
- Prepare bleaches (thick and liquid) using industrial formulas
- Produce cleaners for dishes, tiles, glass, and bathrooms
- Mix alkaline degreasers and acidic cleaners
- Encapsulate fragrances in cyclodextrins
- Formulate enzyme-based compositions with active enzymes
- Calculate surfactant dosages and adjust formula viscosity
